What does community mean here?

We host school groups, families, and neighbors. Hickory's stories sit beside art from across the world.

Every display is chosen to preserve heritage and spark genuine curiosity, not to fill empty wall space.

Admission stays affordable and programs stay open to all. Learning should not require a budget line.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we answer to the public. Donations go toward care, research, and programming.

Sors mea dextera dei, our crest reads. Our fate rests on steady hands, and we treat that honor seriously.

Established for over a decade, serving Hickory with purpose

Your gift preserves the collection for generations to come. Volunteer hours and donations keep every gallery open and every program free.
